Sweet Chap’s latest release, Down My Back, is from his forthcoming album, A Place Where the Menaced Can Mumble. A delta blues-esque melody lies at the foundation of the track, accompanied by old arcade coin-op samples, vocal instrumentation and big synth hooks. Sweet Chap's main vocal gently pushes its way to the front of the track, conjuring images of sexuality and forbidden fantasies whilst confronting demons of shame and expectation along the way.

The song depicts the inner persecution that we inflict on ourselves throughout our lives, and the struggle to try and justify our thoughts and beliefs against the voice of judgment, acceptance and convention.
